Senior Directed One Acts provides a great opportunity for Seniors to take a leadership role in theatre and learn the different aspects of Directing. Being responsible for an entire show requires a lot of hard work, focus, creativity and organization.
Seniors who wish to direct a show must submit and application and proposal describing their vision and why they would be a good director. The Directors and shows will be selected by the Smoky Valley Theater Director. Senior Directors may wish to partner together but all Directors must be Seniors.
Directors will be responsible for creating a costume and lighting design and clearing this with Eric before rehearsals begin. Senior Directors will also have 2 working sessions with Eric during the process to help support you in the process.
